Core competences

Fricweld has the competence, know-how and resources to effectively produce high quality components, an example of this is ”piston rods ready for assembly”

  • With friction welded connections the piston rods have maximum strength and the same strength as the base material
  • With rolled threads the rods receive the highest possible strength which extends the life of the piston rod
  • With induction hardened rods the chrome surface receives a hard surface that can withstand mechanical impacts.

Friction welding

One of Fricweld’s strengths is friction welding. Since the early seventies, we have worked with the technology.
